MIKAYLA SMITH
Growing up in Louisiana, you never meet a stranger.
The music of Louisiana-native Mikayla Smith is no stranger to the heart. A heartfelt, warm vocalist whose voice is both wise and soulful beyond its years, Mikayla is a singer who wows audiences with a smile that entrances and a voice that embraces.

ABOUT MIKAYLA
Mikayla Smith is a 2022 alumnus from The King’s Academy in West Palm Beach. Her jazz singing career launched at the 2022 Night of Jazz where she brought the house down with her rendition of I Ain’t Got Nothin’ but the Blues. Since then, Mikayla was selected as one of the top 40 vocalists from across the country to participate in the Songbook Academy. There, she ranked in the Top 8 vocalists and was showcased in the Finale. Later that same year, she was named the Young Artist Award Winner 2022-2023 from The Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook. Mikayla has also been recognized in Downbeat Magazine, an American music magazine, and awarded a Student Music Award for the 46th Annual High School Outstanding Performance as a Vocal Jazz Soloist. Mikayla has worked alongside jazz greats like Michael Feinstein, John Pizzarelli, Nicole Henry, and Wycliffe Gordon. Recently, she was featured alongside The Voice competitor, Wendy Moten. Mikayla is currently at Palm Beach Atlantic University majoring in Vocal Performance.
